What are the differences between precision molds and regular molds
Now let's first understand the six characteristics of precision mold forming:
1、 The scale accuracy of the product is high, and the public service is small, which means there are high-precision scale boundaries;
2、 The repeatability accuracy of the product is required to be high, and it should have scale stability of day, month, and year;
3、 The information of the mold is good, the rigidity foot, the dimension precision of the cavity, the smoothness and the positioning precision between the templates are high;
4、 Replacing conventional injection molding machines with precision injection molding machines;
5、 Adopting fine molding technology;
6、 Select materials that are customarily finely formed.
The critical dimensions of many precision molds in workshop 4.jpg are not allowed to have slopes, but when making molds, they usually make full use of public service belts with very small slopes, such as gear device columns. When setting up a digital model, it is important to pay attention to the adjustment of the public service. Generally, the 3D model provided by customers is not useful, as many of its scales are used at the limit scale. If the mold design is carried out according to this, the produced mold will basically be invalidated.
Secondly, the drawings must be comprehensive, intact, and accurate. Insert parts should be used as much as possible, and processing should be considered more. The relevant dimensions should be guaranteed by the machine as much as possible. The role of the fitter's technology in fine plastic molds is to strictly follow the drawings. Most mold parts must be strictly designed for public use, not only the working parts of the cavity and core, but also the dimensions related to the installation position of all inserts should be strictly constrained. Generally, it should be controlled within+/-0.005.
